I'm a Colorado transplant (I got here as fast I could!), living the dorm life with 20 teenage girls, my husband, our 3 kids, and 1 fur baby.
When I'm not toting my camera around town, you can find me either at the gym with my workout bestie, driving EVERYWHERE for whichever kids' soccer practice I'm late to, or in my favorite spot, nestled on the couch with a warm cup of coffee, a great book, and my labradoodle.

I wear many hats, and answer to many names.
I'm first and foremost a wife and mom. My family is everything to me, and like most photographers, they're the reason why I got started on the journey. But something really wild happened somewhere along that journey. Of course, for that, you should know about another crazy hat I wear.
I'm a dorm mom to 20 teenage girls. Our family lives on a boarding school campus, and for 2 decades that has meant living with high school students. It's insane. It's sometimes dramatic. It's ALWAYS loud. It's often emotional. And it's absolutely amazing.
And so, at some point these two paths naturally merged into one clear road. My work and my passion intertwined, and I became the girl mom, girl power, all things girl photographer and educator.
Now I live to empower girls with my camera, and to help moms build confidence in their own daughters through my online courses.
It lights me up. Because every girl, and every woman, should look in the mirror and see her hero. She should stand in the truth that she is enough just the way she is, that she is exceptional, and special, and loved.
What in the world is better than living to create that gem in every girl?
